The Happy Mac icon was the normal bootup screen of the Macintosh, it was also used on floppy disks of System softwares. The Mac OS logo and rebranding marks it's debut on version 7.5.1. Released on March 23, 1995. This logo was used for the Mac OS X v10.0, code-named 'Cheetah', and v10.1, code-named 'Puma'. These are all Mac operating systems, starting with the most recent. When a major new macOS is released, it gets a new name, such as macOS Big Sur. As updates that change the macOS version number become available, this article is updated to show the latest version of that macOS.
If your Mac is using an earlier version of any Mac operating system, you should install the latest Apple software updates, which can include important security updates and updates for the apps that are installed by macOS, such as Safari, Books, Messages, Mail, Music, Calendar, and Photos.

LAMMPS can be downloaded, built, and configured for OS X on a Mac withHomebrew. (Alternatively, see the install instructions forDownload an executable via Conda.) The following LAMMPSpackages are unavailable at this time because of additional needs not yet met:GPU, KOKKOS, LATTE, MSCG, MESSAGE, MPIIO POEMS VORONOI.

After installing Homebrew, you can install LAMMPS on your system withthe following commands: Monster slot machine.

The LAMMPS binary is built with the KIM package whichresults in Homebrew also installing the kim-api binaries when LAMMPS isinstalled. In order to use potentials from openkim.org, you caninstall the openkim-models package
